Print, Heat Transfer & Embroidery
We offer a large selection of printing, heat transfer and embroidery techniques.
Digital Print
Digital Print uses inkjet technology to directly print designs onto fabric, making it versatile for various fabric types. It offers high-resolution, intricate designs with limitless colors, making it a cost-effective option for printing. We primarily use Digital Printing for artworks with more than 4 colors.
Dye Sublimation
Dye Sublimation is a heat and pressure transfer process that creates a permanent, texture-free full-color image on fabric. It's ideal for natural and synthetic fabrics, especially all-over printing, and produces high-quality photographic prints that resist scratches and cracks. It's our primary printing method for polyester fabrics.
Screen Print
Screen Printing involves using screens as stencils to apply layers of ink onto the printing surface. It's a cost-effective method for high-quality bulk printing on garments.
Screen Prints are highly durable and can withstand multiple washes while maintaining their quality. However, each screen can only be used for one color at a time, so screen-printing is not cost-efficient for artworks with more than four colors due to the high setup costs of creating screens.
We offer different types of screen printing at BC, including Water-Based Ink and Plastisol-Based Ink Screen Printing. More information is available below.
Water-Based Ink Screen Print
We use Water-Based Ink Screen Printing for light-colored fabrics as it's eco-friendly, with pigments dissolved in a water-based solvent. These prints have a soft hand feel as the ink is absorbed into the fabric instead of sitting on top.
Metallic Ink Screen Print
Metallic Inks are utilized to give garments a metallic look, similar to metallic foil printing, but without the glossy finish.
Plastisol-Based Ink Screen Print
We use Plastisol-Based Ink Screen Printing for dark fabrics as it provides long-lasting and vibrant colors that can match Pantone or PMS colors accurately. However, it leaves a thin film on the fabric, making it slightly thicker than Water-Based Ink Screen Prints.
Metallic Foil Screen Print
Foil Screen Printing adds a shiny metallic appearance to natural fabrics and is limited to one color per design. However, the prints will fade over time with multiple washes due to the adhesive and foil application. To extend their lifespan, it's recommended to wash foil printed designs inside out.
Heat Transfer Print
Heat Transfer Prints involve the use of plastisol inks that are printed onto transfer paper or vinyl, and then applied to a garment through heat and pressure. Because plastisol inks are used, there is a thin layer that can be felt by hand.
Embroidery - Direct On Garment
Embroidery - Patch
Embroidery involves stitching patterns on fabrics using thread or yarn and is known for its durability and classy appearance on garments.
Our machine embroidery utilizes polyester threads. However, small designs under 5 cm are not suitable for embroidery.
